Gordana Fabijanić

After a long career in corporations, she opened the tavern Didova kuća at the island of Pag 8 years ago, in the family’s antiquity. Her biggest challenge was to shape not only the island’s gastronomy and make it specific and recognizable, but also to intensify the experience of the whole picture of Croatian tourism, offering domestic food products, stories, ambiance, history, and heritage. With her husband, she published, illustrated, and translated to 4 languages a children’s book in chakavian dialect “Priča o tome kako su nastali Šimuni”. For six months in a year, Gordana lives and works on the island of Pag, running the tavern with her husband Kristijan. During the winter, she lives in Rijeka, in a family house where she also has a workshop for the production of ceramic dishes. Products in their expression and design are an authentic part of the island, the sea, and the people. She is the mother of one son. In her spare time, she dives, picks wild herbs, does gardening, and grows plants. She illustrates, reads, cooks, and researches new products of small, family food producers to integrate them into the tourist gastronomy. She is one of the initiators of the Glas Poduzetnika Initiative.

Being the micro-entrepreneur herself, she responded to the call of Association to take care of the coordination and become its main megaphone. For her, to be a small part of the change is an immense satisfaction, and to be the voice of thousands of entrepreneurs is a privilege.

Katarina Leko

Katarina is a graduated economist, and being a war child, she is an eternal fighter for justice and better opportunities. Addicted to cycling and improving the knowledge, she is always on the lookout for new challenges. The Glas Poduzetnika Association was a logical step for her, and she acts as a megaphone for over ten thousand members since today.
